Both Sides of the Pond. One Scrumptious Creation!
My daughter Devon just arrived from a semester in England, so I wanted to cook her a nice meal to welcome her back to America. What to prepare?
It hit me at the market. Combine European & American ingredients with my style of cooking.
So here's the menu.
- Smoked California Tri -Tip with Wild Mushroom Demi Sauce
- Roasted Potatoes & Brussels Sprouts with a Champagne Vinegar Reduction & Dates
- Arugula & Iceberg Salad with Endive, Stilton Cheese, Radicchio, Walnuts and a Beet Tarragon Vinaigrette
The idea is to "see-saw" between sweet and sour, soft & crunchy, elegant & rogue, bitter & rich, spicy & neutral.
